Admission Policy and Procedure

Admission Policy

Applicants are admitted on the bases of the results of the entrance test, personal interviews, academic records, character evaluation, and the parents’ and pupil’s/student’s acceptance of SPCM’s Vision-Mission Statement, objectives, thrusts, policies, and procedures.

EARLY YEARS (Toddler, Nursery, Pre-Kinder, and Kindergarten)

  • National Statistics Office (NSO) /Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Birth Certificate (original copy for verification &2 photocopies)
  • Parents’ Marriage Certificate / Affidavit of Marital Status / Solo Parent ID (original copy for verification & 1 photocopy)
  • Baptismal Certificate (original copy for verification &2 photocopies)
  • 1” x 1” recent ID picture (2pieces)
  • Affidavit of Guardianship, if applicable (original copy for verification & 1 photocopy)

(to be included for Pre-Kinder and Kindergarten applicants with prior schooling)

  • Report Card (at least as of Second Quarter, 1 photocopy)
  • DepEd Certificate of Recognition or Permit to Operate of the previous school
  • Filled out Recommendation Form with seal (by either Class Adviser or Guidance Counselor in previous school), which are available online or at the Guidance Center

GRADE SCHOOL / JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL / SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL

  • NSO/PSA Birth Certificate (original copy for verification &2 photocopies)
  • Parents’ Marriage Certificate / Affidavit of Marital Status / Solo Parent ID (original copy for verification & 1 photocopy)
  • Baptismal Certificate (original copy for verification &2 photocopies)
  • 1” x 1” recent ID picture (2 pieces)
  • Report Card (at least as of Second Quarter, 1 Photocopy) of academic average of at least 83.00%; character grade of at least 83.00% or its equivalent letter grade, and with Learner’s Reference Number (original copy for verification & 1 photocopy)
  • Original Certificate of Good Moral Character
  • Filled out Recommendation Form with seal (by either Class Adviser or Guidance Counselor in previous school), which are available online or at the Guidance Center

 

FOREIGN APPLICANTS

  • All the above-mentioned requirements
  • Photocopy of Passport with at least 6 months validity
  • Photocopy of Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR) Card
  • Photocopy of Special Study Permit (SSP) from Bureau of Immigration and Deportation, if available
  • Transcript of Records/Permanent Record (see Notes for Foreign Applicants)

Notes for Foreign Applicants:

a. If applicant carries any of the following, he or she is excluded from submitting SSP:

  • Special Investment Resident Visa (SIRV)
  • Special Resident Retirees Visa (SRRV)
  • 9G Visa
  • 47(A)(2) Visa
  • 9E (Diplomatic) Visa


b. DepEd Regional Memorandum 2010
Accordingly, the scholastic record must be authenticated by the Office of the Philippine Embassy / Office of the Consular Official in the country which has jurisdiction over the issuing school, including an English translation of the  entries particularly the name of student, subjects, grades and grade/year level. The translation will facilitate evaluation thereof.

  • Step 1

    Applicants must submit all requirements to the Guidance Center for evaluation. Qualified applicants shall be issued the SPCM Application Form to be filled out.

  • Step 2

    Applicants will receive an Order of Payment slip and must proceed to the Finance Office for the payment of processing and testing fee.

  • Step 3

    Applicants will forward the receipt of payment to the Guidance Center. Schedule of Admission Examination will be given through the Exam Permit.

  • Step 4

    Applicants will take the Admission Test and the Interview on the scheduled date and time.

  • Step 5

    Admission Results will be issued at the Guidance Center.

Notes for Admission Procedure:
  1. Contested cases of admission are decided on by the School Directress/Principal.
  2. Parents of successful applicants must attend the ORIENTATION SEMINAR, which shall be held before the opening of the new school year.

Mondays to Fridays

  • The Guidance Center is open from 07:00 AM to 12:00 NN, and 01:00 PM to 05:00 PM during weekdays.
  • The applicants may proceed for testing on the same day that they submit their requirements so long as the requirements submitted are complete.
  • The cut off time for testing is 10:00 AM for the morning schedule and 03:00 PM for the afternoon schedule.

Saturdays

  • The Guidance Center is open from 08:00 AM to 12:00 NN during Saturdays.
  • The applicants may proceed for testing on the same day that they submit their requirements so long as the requirements submitted are complete.
  • The cut off time for testing is 10:00 AM.
